I have one nephew and let me tell you that he is growing up so fast! I don't get to see him often since we don't live close but every time I see him I can't believe how much he is changing. He is not a baby anymore, he is a little man. I really enjoy scrapping pictures of him, he is so cute!

My Purple Bag
About two weeks ago, Cory-Lyn posted a LO she saw in a scrapbooking magazine. It was an amazing LO and I decided to lift it. At first I thought it would be easy. But it took me about two weeks to complete it!!!!!! I wanted to scrap with the color purple for the first time and the only thing purple I have is a handbag. It's big, it's bold and it's beautiful!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy it!

Chandelier
A while back, I posted a challenge on the forum of APOS. I suggested scrapping your favorite thing in your scrap area that is not related to scrapbooking. For me, the one thing I love the most in my scrap room that is not related to scrapbooking is my chandelier. It looks great and the best thing about it is that it wasn't that expensive....I bought it at Canadian Tire!!!!!
I originally did this LO using the color blue. But for some reason, I wasn't completely happy with it. So I decided to lift my own LO!!!! I redid it again but using the color red. I am happy with the result!!!
Enjoy!

Paper Bag Album
This paper bag album is my version of a “green” project. For me being “earth friendly” means not only to recycle but also to reuse and reduce. Since our little cute nephew came to visit a few weekends ago, I had the perfect pictures to complete my album.
The album is made of recycled paper bags. All the cardstock and pattern paper you see in the album are scraps. I never throw paper away and I keep every piece to reuse on another project. The ribbons are also leftovers from previous projects and the same goes for the embellishments. For example, the letters “Cool Dude” have been inked black for another LO but I decided not to use them at that time. I really made a point of not using new goodies for this project. Finally, I tried to keep the album very simple in order to respect the “reduce” aspect.
Hope you enjoy!

Design Team Reveal!
Hi everyone! Today is the reveal day of our Design Team Kit for March! I decided to scrap about my cats since the paper was going perfectly with them!
The first LO is about my cat Mex. He is so beautiful and gentle. He brings me calm and joy. I never want to be without him!!!
The second LO is about my cat Dixie. She makes me laugh with her attitude. So nice with us but not really the most friendly cat with visitors!!!!! I love her so much!

What a fun weekend....
I went to the scrapbooking retreat organized by A Pile of Scrap and let me tell you that it was very nice. I had fun, I scrapbooked, I ate a lot, I met a lot of wonderful ladies including Icecheeks! I am a very slow scrapbooker so I only managed to finish 3 LO and started a 4th one!
This LO is about my parents' cat Tommy. My mom wanted me to scrap a picture of him for a while. I did this LO for her birthday and I framed it. She was quite happy with the gift. I also did another one for myself. Hope you like it! The journaling says that he is a big cat that loves to sleep, eat yogurt and ice cream!
The second LO is about my friend Katy who lives in Moncton and her niece Alice who lives in Quebec. Because of the distance, they don't see each other very ofter. I was lucky to be at Katy's place while Alice was visiting and took pics of these two sharing some love!
The last LO is about a pic we took back in 2004 while visiting my cousin Melanie and Dominic in Victoria, BC. I wanted to scrap this pic for a while but wasn't sure what to do with it. It is quite simple but I like it!

A gift....
As I may have told you before, I am working on a “surprise” album for my grand-mother. She loves scrapbooking but says she is too old to start...ha ha ha! So I told her to give me pictures and I would do an album for her. So back in November she gave like 40 pictures and told me I could do whatever I wanted with them. Let's just say that when I was cutting the pics from her wedding in 1951.....I was pretty nervous. I decided to do a 8x8 album since I think it's a great size...not too big and not too small. It's almost ready and I intend to give it to her on my next visit. Here is a sneak peek of what I did...of course, I did not posted all the pages! I really had fun doing this album since there were some pictures of my grand-parents, uncles and aunts that I never seen before! Enjoy!
At last...
I am back! Let's just say that lately life got in the way of my scrapbooking but everything is now back to normal! But having said that, it doesn't mean that I have not scrapbooked at all. The last LO I did was one about my sweet nephew Andrew that I don't have the chance to see very often...but when I do, I always get the opportunity to takes pictures....it's a good thing that he loves the camera!!! Hope you enjoy it!

My camera
This is a LO done with a sketch provided by Cory-Lynn, a designer at the store A Pile Of Scrap. I wanted to scrap this picture for a long time but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I am very pleased with the way the LO turned out. I think it's my first LO using the "pink" color! I really love my camera since it brings me a lot of fun time!!
I love....
...On-line crops! They are so fun because you get to scrap all weekend but also because you don't have to pack all of your scrapbooking things! This weekend, we had a on-line crop with my favorite store A Pile Of Scrap. We, the Design Team, had to post each a challenge. The first LO is based on my challenge which was to include the following 10 items....cardstock, paper pattern, ribbon, button, ink, stamp, stitching, pear accent or stickles, brad and finally flower. So I did a LO about the beautiful Marie-Christine!
I also did the Crop-circle challenge. We had to use 9 circles, 3 ribbons, a one word title and pearl accent. I scrapbooked a pic of me at my 32nd birthday. Hope you enjoy it!

My favorite room...
I have always liked to search for great ideas for my scraproom. I like to go on the internet to be inspired by where people like to scrap. I think what is important is the feeling of comfort that you get when you sit down on that chair and let your imagination go! So today, I am sharing my favorite room of the house....my scraproom!

I am back!
Well, I know it's been a while since I posted something on my blog! Between traveling for my job, scrapbooking and completing my final exam for my marketing course, I did not have a lot of time to keep you up-to-date! But no worries, I am back and will be here more often. So here are a few LO I did during these past weeks. The first one is a LO about Alissa's dog (one of the owner of A Pile Of Scrap). It was so fun to scrap since we had no idea what the pics were about when she asked us to scrap pics for her. Four of us took the challenge and every LO were amazing! The second LO is a tribute to fall my favorite season. The third one is about me going for a jog with Running Room on a Sunday morning at 8am!!!
Talk to you later!!!

My gifts...
I know Christmas is over...but it's SO fun to receive Christmas gifts and play with them! I have to say that I was very fortunate...I received a LOT of scrapbooking supplies. Probably because all my family members know about my scrapbooking addiction...LOL! As mentioned before, I am on the Design Team of my favorite scrapbooking store, A Pile of Scrap. We received a kit containing paper, embellishments, stickers and more. It was fun to scrap with it but also challenging since it is not something I would have chosen. So this is my favorite layout ….about my gifts!

My scrapping partner...
Today, I present you my most faithful scrapbooking partner....my cat Dixie. She really cracks me up....every time I go in my scrapbooking room, I can count the minutes until Dixie joins me. She usually sits on the floor and look at me until I throw some pages on the floor and she lies on them. But sometime, she likes to be on the table right next to me! I guess the only bad thing is that she likes to eat plastic....so when I am not in my scrap room, I have to close the door. I also have another cat that I will present to you in a future post.

A perfect day!
Last Saturday was a perfect day because I scrapbooked all day! There was a crop at my favourite scrapbooking store, A Pile Of Scrap, and it was very fun! It started at 10am until 6pm. I met some very nice ladies and I hope to see them very soon at another crop!
I managed to do two LO about my nephew Andrew....so gorgeous and it's so easy to scrapbook about him! Since I am not the quickest scrapbooker, I was happy to complete two pages. Another one is in progress but you will have to wait a little bit longer!

My 5 favourite things
One of the next LO I am going to do is about my favourite things. At first, I thought it would be hard to only pick 5 but it only took me a few minutes to make my choices. So here they are....
My Slice is for sure one of my favourite things. It's a birthday gift from my husband and I really enjoy it!
What not to love about this camera? It's been a pleasure since the first day but I still have a lot to learn.
Mmmmm! This candle smells so good and it's only available during the Holiday Season....so I didn't take any chances.....I bought a few!
I really love my guitar even if I don't play often...maybe a good resolution for 2009.
