Tickles! / Des chatouilles!

This picture was taken at a photoshoot when Alexis was 5 months old. Of course, that day, he didn't want to nap so he was not in a good mood. The only way that he would smile and laugh was to tickle him! I made this page at the last crop organized by my favorite store, APOS! I hope you like it!

School is back! / C'est le retour en classe!

This is a picture of Jean-Michel, what a cutie! This picture was taken in 2007 while in grade 9. I had this picture for a while but wasn't sure what to do with it since it's on the smaller side. Then about a month and a half ago, I decided to scrap it. Can you beleive that I used a whole bottle of stickles to make that apple red and shiny? But I do love the result. I just saw Jean-Michel not too long ago and he is in grade 12....time flies!

What I love about you! / Ce que j'aime de toi!

I went to another Friday crop at my favorite store, A Pile of Scrap, not too long ago and I started this layout. Of course it's about Alexis. He is such a source of inspiration! I never knew I could love so much someone so small! I also started another layout but you will have to wait a little more since I am not done yet.

Fall is in the air! / L'automne est à nos portes!

Fall is for sure my favorite season. It's not too cold, not too hot...it's just perfect. I had a very busy summer...that's the reason why it's been so long since I blogged. This time of the year usually means more time for scrapping and blogging. I actually did some scrapbooking this summer and I would like to share my latest pages with you. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

************

Busy life! / Une vie très occupée!

All I can say is what was I doing with my time before Alexis? Time is flying away but what a beautiful waste of time! I adore each moment with him. But my scrapbooking is not being as productive as it used to be but I do scrapbook most days even if it's only for a few minutes....it just takes me longer to finish a page! So here is my newest layout....I sure miss my belly!

**********

My sweet Alexis - Mon petit Alexis

I enjoy so much scrapping about my new little man.....it's a good thing that he is a good sleeper!

************

Surprise!

What a surprise! Our son Alexis came 6 weeks earlier....instead of March 3, he decided that January 22 was long enough. We are all doing well. He now weights, at almost 9 weeks, 8 pounds and 12 ounces! We love him so much!

***********

Quelle belle surprise!

A few new LOs! Quelques nouvelles pages!

Over the last months I have done a few new LOs. The first one is the photo of the ultrasound of October 2009. This is when we found out we were having a little boy. We have been very excited preparing for his arrival. The other two LOs are from week 21 and were taken by Kandise (Hibou Photo). Hope you enjoy them!

I am back!!!!! Je suis de retour!!!!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted on my blog. I could probably find some pretty good excuses but let's just say I have been busy at making a baby! Yes I am pregnant. I am 33 weeks which means that I am expecting our little boy in about 7 weeks.

My resolution for 2010 is to try to post once per week! Let's hope I will be good at it. Here is a few pics of my belly at 21 weeks. I took more today and hopefully I will have more pretty soon to post!

*********

Growing up!

I have one nephew and let me tell you that he is growing up so fast! I don't get to see him often since we don't live close but every time I see him I can't believe how much he is changing. He is not a baby anymore, he is a little man. I really enjoy scrapping pictures of him, he is so cute!

My Purple Bag

About two weeks ago, Cory-Lyn posted a LO she saw in a scrapbooking magazine. It was an amazing LO and I decided to lift it. At first I thought it would be easy. But it took me about two weeks to complete it!!!!!! I wanted to scrap with the color purple for the first time and the only thing purple I have is a handbag. It's big, it's bold and it's beautiful!!!!!!

Hope you enjoy it!

Chandelier

A while back, I posted a challenge on the forum of APOS. I suggested scrapping your favorite thing in your scrap area that is not related to scrapbooking. For me, the one thing I love the most in my scrap room that is not related to scrapbooking is my chandelier. It looks great and the best thing about it is that it wasn't that expensive....I bought it at Canadian Tire!!!!!

I originally did this LO using the color blue. But for some reason, I wasn't completely happy with it. So I decided to lift my own LO!!!! I redid it again but using the color red. I am happy with the result!!!

Enjoy!

Paper Bag Album

This paper bag album is my version of a “green” project. For me being “earth friendly” means not only to recycle but also to reuse and reduce. Since our little cute nephew came to visit a few weekends ago, I had the perfect pictures to complete my album.

The album is made of recycled paper bags. All the cardstock and pattern paper you see in the album are scraps. I never throw paper away and I keep every piece to reuse on another project. The ribbons are also leftovers from previous projects and the same goes for the embellishments. For example, the letters “Cool Dude” have been inked black for another LO but I decided not to use them at that time. I really made a point of not using new goodies for this project. Finally, I tried to keep the album very simple in order to respect the “reduce” aspect.

Hope you enjoy!

Another Crop!

We had another amazing day at the store A Pile Of Scrap! We had a crop on Good Friday and it was fun fun fun! I've met some ladies for the first time and I've seen some friends again. I managed to finish two LOs....a first for me! Two LOs in the same day....I am getting faster!!! A big thank you to Alissa and her husband for the great food! It was awesome!

The first LO is about Katrina, my cousin's daughter....what a sweetheart! And what to say about those eyes!

The second LO is about my nephew Andrew at his second birthday! What a fun day that was! I think he really enjoyed his cake!

Design Team Reveal!

Hi everyone! Today is the reveal day of our Design Team Kit for March! I decided to scrap about my cats since the paper was going perfectly with them!

The first LO is about my cat Mex. He is so beautiful and gentle. He brings me calm and joy. I never want to be without him!!!

The second LO is about my cat Dixie. She makes me laugh with her attitude. So nice with us but not really the most friendly cat with visitors!!!!! I love her so much!

What a fun weekend....

I went to the scrapbooking retreat organized by A Pile of Scrap and let me tell you that it was very nice. I had fun, I scrapbooked, I ate a lot, I met a lot of wonderful ladies including Icecheeks! I am a very slow scrapbooker so I only managed to finish 3 LO and started a 4th one!

This LO is about my parents' cat Tommy. My mom wanted me to scrap a picture of him for a while. I did this LO for her birthday and I framed it. She was quite happy with the gift. I also did another one for myself. Hope you like it! The journaling says that he is a big cat that loves to sleep, eat yogurt and ice cream!

The second LO is about my friend Katy who lives in Moncton and her niece Alice who lives in Quebec. Because of the distance, they don't see each other very ofter. I was lucky to be at Katy's place while Alice was visiting and took pics of these two sharing some love!

The last LO is about a pic we took back in 2004 while visiting my cousin Melanie and Dominic in Victoria, BC. I wanted to scrap this pic for a while but wasn't sure what to do with it. It is quite simple but I like it!

Charlie...

Charlie is our friend's cat and sometimes when they go away for a weekend, I go and visit him. He makes me laugh because when he sees me, he gets cuddly and lies on the floor for me to scratch him. But as soon as he gets his fresh water and food, he hisses me!!!! Charlie, such a funny cat!

A gift....

As I may have told you before, I am working on a “surprise” album for my grand-mother. She loves scrapbooking but says she is too old to start...ha ha ha! So I told her to give me pictures and I would do an album for her. So back in November she gave like 40 pictures and told me I could do whatever I wanted with them. Let's just say that when I was cutting the pics from her wedding in 1951.....I was pretty nervous. I decided to do a 8x8 album since I think it's a great size...not too big and not too small. It's almost ready and I intend to give it to her on my next visit. Here is a sneak peek of what I did...of course, I did not posted all the pages! I really had fun doing this album since there were some pictures of my grand-parents, uncles and aunts that I never seen before! Enjoy!

At last...

I am back! Let's just say that lately life got in the way of my scrapbooking but everything is now back to normal! But having said that, it doesn't mean that I have not scrapbooked at all. The last LO I did was one about my sweet nephew Andrew that I don't have the chance to see very often...but when I do, I always get the opportunity to takes pictures....it's a good thing that he loves the camera!!! Hope you enjoy it!

My camera

This is a LO done with a sketch provided by Cory-Lynn, a designer at the store A Pile Of Scrap. I wanted to scrap this picture for a long time but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I am very pleased with the way the LO turned out. I think it's my first LO using the "pink" color! I really love my camera since it brings me a lot of fun time!!
